The European Institute of Professional Intelligence Officers (EIPIO) is Europe’s (new) leading organisation dedicated to intelligence education, research, and professional networking. EIPIO is committed to advancing the skills and standards of intelligence professionals, preparing them to address complex and dynamic global challenges with integrity, critical thinking, and collaboration. The institute will offer comprehensive training programs, applied research, professional accreditations, and insights, as well as opportunities to join a robust professional community through events and online forums. By fostering intellectual excellence and operational expertise, EIPIO contributes to strengthening Europe’s security ecosystem while maintaining the highest ethical and legal standards. It serves a diverse audience of government officials, corporate leaders, and investigative professionals. The Institute is to bring together professionals coming from intelligence fields, including but not limited to police/criminal intelligence, military/defence intelligence, national security intelligence, competitive intelligence, and academia relating to security and intelligence, (NB: Business Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence are not compliant fields). Co-Founder Role These are volunteer remote positions for the role of Co-Founder (x2) at the European Institute of Professional Intelligence Officers. As a Co-Founder, you will collaborate with other leadership to define the vision and strategy of EIPIO and play a key role in decision‑making, formation, organisational development, business strategy, and operations. You will also establish partnerships with stakeholders, contribute to developing and expanding training and certification programs, and help build a strong professional network within the intelligence community. Responsibilities include strategic planning, fostering collaborations, promoting the organization, and supporting research and initiatives that enhance EIPIO's mission. Qualifications Effective communication skills, including interpersonal, written, and verbal abilities. Previous experience in think tank management is a significant advantage. Proven leadership skills including business planning and strategy development, with the ability to work in a collaborative team setting. Startup (e.g. organisation formation) experience is an advantage Minimum 10 years experience in the intelligence fields set out above is mandatory. Demonstrated commitment to ethical practices and a global perspective on security issues. 2 intelligence sector professional referees are required. Professional or native level English.
