About BePark
Our cities are changing. The shift towards sustainable mobility coupled with an ever increasing density is shaping the new urban landscape. Key challenges are arising such as:
- How can we free-up space in our streets and give it back to pedestrians and cyclists without ignoring the impact on drivers?
- How can we enable the electrification of vehicles with the suitable charging infrastructure?
- Where should all the bicycles, cargo bikes, and scooters go at the end of the ride?
BePark aims to provide a better mobility experience to this generation and the next. In short, we hunt for unused private parkings and open them to the crowd for various uses: car park (keeping cars off-street), bicycles, EV charging, Last-mile delivery.
Our goal is ultimately to generate a network of mobility hubs throughout cities in Belgium, France, Spain and Luxembourg. Today we are a team of 40 delivering mobility services across 500 parking lots for our community of +20k active users. Let's grow this network together
Key ResponsibilitiesBePark is looking for a Business Developer to accelerate the deployment of our EV charging station network and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) with real estate partners. Based in our Brussels office, the Business Developer will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, engaging with decision-makers, and driving the adoption of our solutions.
This role involves significant collaboration with real estate partners, sales teams, and operational teams. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, thrives in dynamic environments, and is passionate about building relationships while proactively identifying new business opportunities.
As a Business Developer, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our network of EV charging and energy solutions. You will:
- Identify and engage potential real estate partners (property developers, landlords, asset managers) to integrate BePark's EV charging and BESS solutions into their properties.
- Drive outbound sales efforts, including cold calling, networking, and in-person meetings to generate leads and create new opportunities.
- Educate and inspire potential clients on the benefits of sustainable mobility and energy storage solutions, positioning BePark as the ideal partner.
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring a seamless transition from prospecting to contract signing.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and operations, to refine our approach and support successful project execution.
- Stay informed on market trends in real estate, EV charging, and energy storage to anticipate client needs and position BePark as a leader in the sector.
- This role is ideal for someone who enjoys outbound sales, takes initiative, and is motivated by the challenge of transforming cold leads into long-term partnerships.
About You
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Experience: Master Degree or prior experience in a B2B sales or business development role, ideally with outbound sales exposure (cold calling, prospecting, or lead generation). Experience in EV charging or BESS is a strong plus but not a requirement—if you're eager to dive into the topic, we'll support your learning.
- Languages: Fluency in French and English; Dutch is a strong plus.
- Skills: Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers.
- Personality: A proactive, resilient, and adaptable individual who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Sales Drive: A passion for hunting new business opportunities, with a knack for inspiring and educating prospects about innovative solutions.
- Organization: The ability to manage multiple prospects and sales cycles effectively, with a structured and results-oriented approach.
