Do you want to play a key role in the Agile transformation of a large international financial institution?You will join a digital tribe responsible end-to-end for enterprise-facing web and mobile solutions.The environment is based on cross-functional Agile squads, combining IT and business expertise to develop and maintain high-impact digital products.You will work in a team delivering features end-to-end, including:Backend development in a cloud environmentClose collaboration with frontend teams (web & mobile)Role & Responsibilities:As a Senior Java Developer, you will work in an Agile squad composed of internal and external members and be involved in both Development and Ops activities.Key responsibilities:Translate business requirements into high-quality codeDesign, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable backend applicationsDevelop primarily using Java & Spring FrameworkCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new featuresIntegrate with external data sources and APIsEnsure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applicationsApply development best practices and ensure code qualityIdentify bottlenecks and fix bugsParticipate in CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenanceContribute to API automation testingRequired Experience:Minimum 6 years of relevant experience as a Java developerProven experience working in Agile (Scrum) environmentsTechnical Skills (Mandatory)Strong expertise in JavaSpring FrameworkMavenDatabasesRESTful APIs (Swagger / YAML)Version control systems (Git)CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins or equivalent)SAST tools (SonarQube, Fortify, NexusIQ or equivalent)Docker & container technologiesBasic knowledge of GroovyDevelopment practices:Clean Code principlesObject-Oriented principles, SOLID, design patternsDomain Driven Design (DDD)Test Driven Development (TDD)Willingness to pair programRegular refactoring mindsetNice to Have:ReactNode.jsLanguage Requirements:English: very good (mandatory)French or Dutch: nice to haveFor more information: busra.dogu@templeton-recruitment.com
