As a Finance & Administration Manager, you will have the chance to lead key financial and administrative functions in a global setting. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional to make a significant impact in the insurance sector, based in Brussels.
Your responsibilities as a Finance & Administration Manager:
- Manage accounting tasks not handled centrally at group level
- Oversee monthly closings for non-central activities
- Serve as the main contact for auditors
- Handle bad debts and manage external provider relationships
- Assist with data preparation for budget and reviews
- Coordinate with teams to review monthly revenue
- Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries
- Contribute to projects and manage compliance requests
- Lead business continuity planning
- Improve operational efficiency and processes
- Develop office management policies
- Supervise and support one team member's development
About you:
- You hold a Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- You have at least 5 years of experience in the financial sector, with expertise in insurance or reinsurance being an advantage
- You possess strong financial and controlling skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; knowledge of Salesforce and SAP is a plus
- You are fluent in English, with a working knowledge of Dutch and/or French
- You are highly autonomous, with excellent problem-solving skills, and can lead through influence and foster collaboration across diverse, multicultural teams
- You excel in data analysis and enjoy working with numbers, yet you balance this with strong communication abilities
- You are adaptable, methodical, and process-driven, with a strong focus on project management and operational efficiency
