Requisition ID: 3949 Location: Louvain-la-Neuve, BE Work regime: Full-Time Kind of contract: Open Ended Contract Mission As a Data Scientist within the Technology Business Unit and the Digital Department at IBA, your mission is to help our business teams by providing insights, predictive models and data-driven solutions leveraging statistical analysis and artificial intelligence. You will also contribute to R&D projects such as physics-informed AI and predictive maintenance , while embedding data science into operational processes. Challenges we trust you with Lead data science projects from exploration to deployment and monitoring Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and business teams to identify opportunities Build predictive models and assess data quality Develop dashboards and reports to communicate insights clearly Contribute to R&D initiatives in physics-informed AI and predictive maintenance Stay up to date with trends in AI, statistics, and modelling Support IBA’s digital transformation through data-driven solutions What we value At least 3 years as a Data Scientist or relevant experience Strong foundation in Python Expertise in physics Experience working in an R&D or academic environment End-to-end ML project experience including problem scoping, experimentation, deployment, and monitoring Strong foundation in statistics and AI, through education or experience Motivated to find business value in advanced physics innovation Strong communicator that can describe complex topics in a simple way Fluent in English, French is a plus Nice to have Experience with Databricks and Spark Experience with NVIDIA PhysicsNeMo, DeepXDE or similar software Our offer Competitive salary and benefits, including a company car Flexiblehome office policy (3days/week) Career growth within a globally recognized leader in medical technology A supportive team environment that values each member's development A commitment to cutting-edge technology and solving challenging problems Be part of a BCorp Certified company, balancing professional innovation with personal well-being Join us at IBA, where you can be part of a dynamic team working on cutting-edge technology in the fight against cancer.
