Blue Projects is one of the most dynamic consulting firms, we focus and specialize on providing unique and bespoke Engineering and Project Management solutions for clients in the industrial sector.To further our strategic business growth, we are looking for a passionate Project Manager in our Belgium office.The new colleague will be working within the Project Management Department, taking care of the project's budget, planning, and technical challenges. The role encloses also developing and managing the relationships with the client's team and subcontractors.How the ideal candidate would be?Must be available to work on-site in Mechelen on a daily basis.Proven experience as construction project manager, focus on industrial projectsIn-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principlesKnowledge of the food industry, manufacturing and packaging processes, Layout, Tech-SpecsFamiliarity with quality and health and safety standardsGood knowledge of MS OfficeExcellent command of the English languageFamiliarity with construction/ project management softwareOutstanding communication and negotiation skillsExcellent organizational and time-management skillsA team player with leadership abilitiesBSc/BA in engineering, building science or relevant fieldPMP or equivalent certification will be an advantageAvailable for business trips/relocation for projects purposesWhat are the responsibilities?Collaborate with project team to determine the specifications of the projectAssist in negotiations of contracts with external vendorsAssist in obtaining permits and licenses from appropriate authoritiesDetermine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitationsAssist in planning all operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be metManage team members and allocate responsibilitiesLead project team and interactions with clients and contractorsEvaluate progress and prepare detailed reportsEnsure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issuesTOP reasons why Blue Projects may be a strategic choice:International exposure, working with top blue-chip companies as MICHELIN, Kellogg, Carlsberg, IKEA.Annual financial rewards and salary raises according to a solid and replicable performance appraisal programReal career opportunities and advancement perspectives within our supportive teamsSmart, kind, and open to communication team environmentSports and relaxation services and a business health insuranceAccess to online learning platformsPsychological and well-being services offered by a well-known providerEmployee Assistance Program
