Your role as a Functional Analyst As a Functional Analyst, you act as the crucial link between business and IT. You translate business needs into clear functional specifications for developers and testers. Throughout the project lifecycle, you support the development team and, in some cases, take ownership of acceptance testing. In short: you ensure that business requirements are seamlessly translated into high-quality, practical IT solutions. What will you do? Analyze and translate business requirements into functional specifications Act as a sparring partner for both business stakeholders and developers Organize and facilitate workshops with business users Follow up and provide functional support to the development team Take responsibility for acceptance testing in selected projects Create documentation and models using tools such as UML, SQL, XML, JSON Who are you? Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, or equivalent experience Several years of experience in functional analysis Experience working in Agile & Scrum environments Hands-on knowledge of UML, SQL, XML, JSON, Jira and Confluence Strong communication skills in Dutch or French, and English Comfortable organizing and facilitating workshops A true bridge-builder between business and IT What can you expect from us?
