Overview Level: Counsel / Junior Partner to Partner. This Competition Partner opportunity is based in Brussels and is suited to Counsels or Junior Partners (or senior associates on a clear partnership track) looking to step into a genuinely entrepreneurial environment and accelerate their career. The Opportunity This role offers the chance to join a well-established international platform with strong cross-border capabilities and an existing Competition practice that is primed for growth. You will have the autonomy to shape your practice, deepen client relationships, and play a visible role in the firm’s strategic development. Key Focus Areas EU and international competition / antitrust matters, including: Merger control Cartels and investigations Abuse of dominance State aid (desirable but not essential) Working closely with international colleagues on multi-jurisdictional mandates Business development and practice growth within Brussels and across Europe Candidate Profile 9–12 years’ PQE in Competition / Antitrust Currently a Counsel, Junior Partner, or Senior Associate ready to step up Experience gained at a leading international, US, or top-tier European firm Demonstrated ability (or strong potential) to develop client relationships Entrepreneurial mindset with ambition to build and grow a practice Brussels and EU competition experience strongly preferred Why This Role?
