Role OverviewWe are looking for a Cloud Technical Architect with strong expertise in Kubernetes to design, govern, and optimize cloud and hybrid platforms. You will act as Application Owner for Kubernetes-based platforms, ensuring end-to-end accountability across the full lifecycle, from design to decommissioning. You will work closely with technical architects, internal teams, and external partners to deliver secure, scalable, and cost-efficient solutions aligned with enterprise strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesApplication Ownership & Lifecycle ManagementAct as Application Owner for Kubernetes platforms and workloads.Ensure operational readiness, availability, security, compliance, upgrades, and decommissioning.Maintain clear ownership, documentation, and alignment with enterprise standards.Architectural LeadershipTranslate business and IT strategy into scalable cloud architectures.Define and maintain cloud building blocks, standards, and reference architectures.Ensure architectural alignment with enterprise objectives.Platform OptimizationContinuously improve performance, reliability, and efficiency of Kubernetes platforms.Propose and prioritize platform enhancements based on business and operational needs.Feasibility & Impact AnalysisLead feasibility studies with internal teams and cloud providers.Analyze architectural, operational, and financial impacts of changes.Cost Management & FinOpsEmbed cost awareness in all architectural decisions.Apply FinOps principles to optimize cloud and hybrid consumption.Technical Leadership & MentorshipProvide expert technical guidance.Mentor team members and promote best practices.Quality Assurance & Partner ManagementReview and validate deliverables from external partners.Ensure quality, compliance, and architectural alignment.Key CompetenciesKubernetes Expertise: Design, operate, and optimize Kubernetes platforms.Infrastructure as Code: Strong Terraform experience.Application Ownership: End-to-end lifecycle accountability.Cloud Architecture: Secure, scalable enterprise architectures.Hybrid Architecture: Public, private, and hybrid cloud solutions.Platform Optimization: Performance, reliability, and efficiency focus.FinOps: Cost transparency and optimization.Feasibility Studies: Technical, operational, and financial analysis.Partner Governance: Quality and compliance control.Technical Leadership: Mentoring and knowledge sharing.Languages : Fluent in French (C1) and/or Dutch (C1), and English (C2).
