Do you know the feeling of having to wait forever for your insurer to answer your email? That is what we are solving Insurance historically is a manual labor-intensive, admin-heavy industry. A lot of manual labour goes into reading incoming requests, processing emails and attachments from central mailboxes, forwarding to colleagues, scheduling and prioritizing tasks and archiving information into insurance back-office systems. Our AI Agent Clara reduces friction and brings structure to the biggest bottleneck of insurance operations: the Mailroom. We believe technology should improve the way people interact and work towards a future where nobody is just a number. As a Regional Expansion Lead at Paperbox.ai, you will be responsible for spearheading our expansion into new markets while building strategic technology partnerships. You'll drive revenue growth through new market entry, manage complex sales cycles, and develop partnership ecosystems that accelerate our go-to-market strategy. This is a full-time role in Ghent with flexibility for remote work and regular travel within the region. The right time and place The last years we have been bootstrapping and building the foundations of our GTM machine. With over 40 customers in insurance, we have nailed down our ICP and value proposition. We're currently focused on expanding into the Netherlands market as our primary growth engine, with plans to scale into the UK thereafter. New Market Development: Execute go-to-market strategy specifically for the Netherlands market as our primary expansion focus Build Dutch market presence from ground up using our established customer base as foundation Target and convert 'Innovators' and 'Early Adopters' in the Netherlands to create market momentum Research Dutch insurance market opportunities and develop Netherlands-specific approaches Create compelling value propositions tailored to Dutch market needs and regulatory environment Partnership Management: Identify, negotiate, and structure strategic technology partnerships with CRM and Business Management Systems (BMS) / Insurance Management Systems (IMS) providers Build and maintain partnership pipeline and relationship management processes Drive accountability and execution within partnership ecosystem without formal hierarchy Navigate the "chicken-and-egg" dynamic: leverage customer pressure to activate partners and vice versa Coordinate joint go-to-market activities and co-selling initiatives Lead discovery meetings using MEDDPICC framework and value-based selling methodology Manage complex sales cycles (3-12 months) with multiple stakeholders Project scoping with support from our technical team and shape success criteria Build compelling business cases and control decision-making processes Navigate IT, compliance, and procurement requirements Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM discipline in HubSpot Execute deal reviews and pipeline management according to Revenue Architecture (bow-tie model) Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing on campaigns, events, and content development Partner with Customer Success and Product teams for seamless delivery Act as bridge between market insights and product development Feed market signals back to internal teams for continuous improvement You are a great fit if you have Commercial Hunter Mindset: 5+ years B2B SaaS/Enterprise Software sales experience with proven track record in new market entry and GTM execution Proactive "go-getter" mentality with energy for opening doors and creating opportunities in largely untapped markets Demonstrated success building traction from initial customer base and general market knowledge Experience converting prospects through strong content-driven narratives and deal initiation Deep understanding of SaaS/Enterprise software sales cycles, pricing models, and value proposition development Partnership & Market Entry Expertise: Proven experience rolling out GTM strategies in new regions (Netherlands market experience strongly preferred) Track record with software technology partnerships - including negotiation, structuring, and ongoing management Experience creating pressure and accountability with partners without formal authority Understanding of partnership dynamics and ecosystem development in SaaS/Enterprise software environments Strong command of MEDDPICC, Revenue Architecture (bow-tie model), and value-based selling methodologies Comfortable with data-driven forecasting and CRM-driven workflows Experience with complex, multi-stakeholder buying processes Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Dutch and English. (French is a big plus too) Flexibility & Collaboration: Willingness to travel regularly to the Netherlands for market development activities Combines autonomy with team spirit - can independently build pipeline while collaborating effectively Bachelor's degree in Business or related field Experience in insurance or financial services industry Native Dutch proficiency, Perks and benefits At Paperbox we strongly believe in diversity and a healthy work environment.
