Our client is an international actor in the sector of sweet and savoury snacks. Their assortment is made of healthy biscuits, salty snacks, and delicate chocolates – including an organic range. In Belgium, their offices are located in a very pleasant work environment in the south of Brussels.

About the job:

  • Develop Strategic Account Plans to achieve sales and profit targets and maximise return on investment together with the Sales manager and the rest of the team.
  • Generate insights and vision for future brands growth.
  • Build and develop internal working relationships with key departments such as Finance, Supply Chain, MS&P, and shopper marketing.
  • Manage internal systems such as Budget/Forecasting.
  • Negotiate strong Trading terms for each account in line with the strategy.
  • Review regularly plans and performances throughout the year, taking appropriate mitigation actions as necessary in line with category understanding, consumer and customer needs and drivers.

About the ideal candidate:

  • The role will fit a junior profile who has a first experience on the field or as an account manager/category manager in the FMCG sector.
  • Knowledge of Belgium business/retailers.
  • Results-oriented and customer-focused.
  • Strong Selling, Negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Hands-on, resilient, and very entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Able to do business in Dutch, French, and English.
