Global Sales Director

Function

You will be responsible for defining and executing our global sales strategy. In this key position, you will manage international teams, increase our market position, and work with all business units to achieve sustainable growth.

  1. Develop and implement global sales strategies to increase market share.
  2. Identify new business opportunities and trends in both existing and emerging markets.
  3. Ensure close alignment between sales, marketing, and product development.
  4. Manage, coach, and inspire a high-performing international sales team.
  5. Establish and deliver development plans for team members.
  6. Create a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  7. Build lasting relationships with strategic customers and partners.
  8. Analyse market trends and competitive data to provide relevant insights.
  9. Represent the company at international trade shows and events.
  10. Optimise sales processes and efficiency within the department.
  11. Achieve sales targets and report to senior management.
  12. Oversee budgets and revenue forecasts.
Profile
  1. Minimum 10 years' experience in a leadership role within international sales.
  2. Strong affinity with B2B environments and knowledge of retail markets.
  3. Experience with sustainable and innovative products is a plus.
  4. Strategic thinking skills with a keen eye for opportunities and risks.
  5. Leadership qualities: inspiring, decisive, and result-oriented.
  6. Excellent communication skills, in N-F-E.
  7. Enterprising and proactive in addressing challenges.
  8. Flexible and adaptable in a rapidly evolving international environment.
  9. Ethically strong with a focus on sustainability.
