As a key player in our Agile journey, you will empower people to deliver high-value products and solutions while fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and self-organization. You will act as a servant-leader, ensuring adherence to Agile principles, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, and removing obstacles that hinder progress.

Duties:

  • Facilitate the team for better creativity and improve the efficiency of the development team.
  • Manage the scrum process with the coordination of the scrum team in Agile methodology.
  • Remove impediments for the scrum team.
  • Arrange daily stand-up meetings, facilitate meetings, schedule meetings, demos, and decision-making processes to ensure quick inspection and proper use of the adaptation process.
  • Assist the product owner in making the product backlogs in good shape and ready for the next sprint.
  • Conduct retrospective meetings.
  • Organize and facilitate the sprint planning meeting.
  • Act as a safeguard for the team.

  • Responsible for facilitating daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo, and retrospective meetings.
  • Possess conflict resolution skills and focus on scrum values of openness, honesty, and respect.
  • Be a friendly, communicative person, as effective communication holds the team together in Agile.
  • Forecast the number of deliverables possible in an iteration based on evidence and reliable sources.
  • Be an expert in estimation and planning, capable of creating useful, reliable, and practical plans for software development projects.
  • Be a good coach in Agile practices, focusing on individuals and interactions over processes and tools.
  • Help the team or individual clarify goals and actions to achieve them.
  • Shield the team from outside distractions and interferences.
  • Ensure the correct use of the scrum process.
  • Track and remove impediments.

HANDS-ON:

  • Knowledge of agile methodology, Scrum frameworks, and flexible delivery models.
  • Good skills to coach the team on effective Agile Scrum practices.
  • Understand the fundamentals of iterative and incremental development.
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules, and practices.
  • Basic knowledge of software development processes and procedures to understand team needs, including Agile techniques like User Stories, Continuous Integration, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Testing, Pairing, and Automated Testing.
  • Commitment to delivering the product on time.
  • Understand the value of metrics and incremental delivery.
  • Knowledge about tasks, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, user stories, etc.
  • Familiarity with common development practices, service-oriented environments, and Agile practices.
