Parts Product Manager – Brussels, BelgiumCLIENTLinum Consult’s client is a market leader in the distribution of machine parts across the Mining, Civil Engineering and Heavy Industry sectors in Africa. Due to extended growth, they are looking to hire a Parts Product Manager to be based near Brussels, Belgium.RESPONSIBILITIESProactively analysing the market potential, existing customers and competition, according to the type of product (OEMs), and establishing the priority actions to be carried out in the short, medium, and long term with the Parts Sales Support Officer (PSSO), Parts Sales Service Representative (PSSR), and Project ManagerProposing pricing strategies for OEMs and assigned customersEstablishing and deploying sales support tools to PSSRs, PSSOs, and PMsAccompanying the PSSRs and PM in their client visits, helping develop skills and providing technical support for Parts Agreements or spot offersIdentifying the necessary means to effectively implement these priority actionsParticipating in the preparation of the budget and forecastPreparing and facilitating monthly, quarterly, and annual meetings with OEMsIdentifying and negotiating the support needed for OEMs to help local teams develop parts salesCLIENT REQUIREMENTSDegree qualified in a technical or commercial subject (Commercial or Industrial Engineering)3 years’ experience in a technical-commercial roleProven history of working within the OEM product industry, particularly with heavy equipment partsAbility to set objectives which are readily understood and accepted by the companyFluent in both French and EnglishHighly autonomous and intelligent worker, with strong sales and negotiation skillsExperience in Africa and/or an international environment is an added advantage, with a willingness for frequent travelAPPLICATION PROCESSIf you fulfil all of the key criteria for this position, then please formally submit your CV along with your current financial package details for the attention of Frederick Thugniot to europe@linumconsult.comIf you fulfil all the criteria stipulated, you will be contacted within 7-10 days.
