Als Expert Station Environment zorg je mee voor stationsomgevingen waar het aangenaam en veilig vertoeven is voor onze reizigers. Door een optimaal gebruik van middelen ontwerp je mee betere stations en -omgevingen, met het oog op een duurzame toekomst.
Wat is jouw rol bij NMBS ?- Je denkt mee na over de stations van de toekomst.
- Je ontwikkelt een gedragen langetermijnvisie voor de stationsomgevingen in jouw regio (Antwerpen en Limburg).
- Je onderhandelt met lokale besturen en externe stakeholders. Hierbij verdedig je de standpunten van NMBS, begeleid je ontwerptrajecten en beoordeel je ontwerpen.
- Je werkt nauw samen met verschillende interne en externe collega's.
- Je behaalde een master diploma in de richting stedenbouw of mobiliteit of architectuur EN je hebt 2 jaar ervaring in het domein.
- OF je beschikt over een bachelor diploma in de richting stedenbouw of mobiliteit of architectuur EN hebt minstens 8 jaar ervaring in het domein.
Indien je je diploma in het buitenland hebt behaald, dien je in het bezit te zijn van een gelijkwaardigheidsattest afgeleverd door de Vlaamse Overheid (NARIC-Vlaanderen) om deel te kunnen nemen aan de selectie.
Je beschikt over volgende competenties:
- Je hebt een passie voor stedenbouw en mobiliteit. Je bent in staat een visie te ontwikkelen waarin de gebruiker van het openbaar vervoer centraal staat.
- Je kan plannen lezen en daarop pijnpunten identificeren. Je zoekt naar oplossingen om de verschillende vervoersmodi en stationsfuncties een plaats te geven in de stationsomgeving.
- Je communiceert vlot en kan ook onderhandelen.
- Je bent visueel ingesteld. Je ondersteunt een presentatie met schetsen om je visie duidelijk te maken.
- Je kan samenwerken met verschillende teams. Je neemt initiatief, houdt rekening met de belangen van anderen, deelt informatie en kan mensen enthousiasmeren.
- Je vertrekt vanuit een langetermijnvisie die je kan vertalen in concrete projecten in de nabije toekomst.
- Ervaring met overheidsactoren en kennis van de regio Antwerpen en Limburg is een pluspunt.

Je bureau bevindt zich in Brussel, vlak bij het station Brussel-Zuid, al ben je vaak onderweg. Je kan ook twee dagen per week werken van thuis uit.
Je komt terecht in een team van een 15-tal personen die allemaal gaan voor hetzelfde doel: stationsomgevingen creëren die vandaag werken en klaar zijn voor morgen.
