Strategic Logistics Manager & Asset Coordinator

As Strategic Logistics Manager & Assets Coordinator in the technical direction department, you will plan, coordinate, and execute national and international transportation of goods to and from La Monnaie.

You will prepare and organize the storage of decors to bring them to the required locations and ensure their conservation under optimal conditions. Your responsibility will include developing a long-term assets strategy.

Description of Your Function

  • You will prepare and execute various activities maximizing the use of available resources and budgets;
  • You will identify the most suitable transport and storage options and prepare transport and logistics activities;
  • You will act as a point of contact with relevant partners to ensure deliveries to the right place in compliance with regulations;
  • You will manage the fleet, transportation equipment stock, and decor stock;
  • You will enhance asset management coordination in collaboration with IT, preparing project management for strategic decisions under the responsibility of the technical director, financial director, and relevant department heads;
  • You will develop, organize, and implement sorting, recycling, waste management, and end-of-life processes in coordination with the technical director;
  • You will allocate the annual budget for external storage, transportation, recycling, etc.;
  • You will establish an electronic storage reservation system for efficient organization.

Your Profile

  • You hold a bachelor's degree;
  • You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, combining long-term strategic planning and asset management;
  • You have proven experience in the transport, logistics, and/or moving sector;
  • You have good knowledge of warehouse management, storage, and theater decor handling;
  • You have a strong understanding of customs legislation;
  • You have a valid driver's license;
  • You can manage schedules and budgets efficiently;
  • You are highly organized and communicate effectively;
  • You are proficient in French and Dutch. English proficiency is a plus;
  • You have good MS Office skills.
