Ford testbanen te Lommel maakt deel uit van de productontwikkelingsorganisatie binnen Ford Europa. De site werd operationeel in 1965 en biedt vandaag een uitgebreide reeks test
- en ontwikkelingsfaciliteiten voor voertuigen en voertuigsystemen, gekoppeld aan ultramoderne engineeringtechnologie.
**Wat doen wij**:
Onze belangrijkste activiteiten zijn de ontwikkeling en het testen van Ford voertuigmodellen. Gegevens die tijdens de verschillende soorten testen worden geregistreerd, worden geanalyseerd, gereproduceerd, verwerkt en gerapporteerd aan de engineering-afdelingen.
Eén aspect hiervan zijn de nieuwe technologieën in een wagen. Zo is de interface tussen de wagen en de chauffeur aan een zeer snel tempo geëvolueerd.Samen met de in aantal sterk groeiende rijhulpsystemen zijn nieuwe toepassingen in het domein van multimedia, navigatie en connectiviteit kenmerkend voor de modernste wagens. Het aantal en belang van deze technologieën neemt snel toe en zal bepalend zijn hoe onze mobiliteit er in de toekomst zal uitzien.
**Wie zoeken wij**:
Voor de ondersteuning van het testwerk van deze nieuwe technologieën, zoeken wij jongeren (-26 jarigen) die in 2 shiften (wekelijks wisselend) tewerkgesteld zullen worden in onze afdeling Connectivity & Software Validation Fleet (CSVF).
**Wat zijn jouw taken**:
- Het statisch en dynamisch testen van de verschillende infotainment
- systemen, actieve rijhulp assistentie technologieën, cloud computing, connectiviteitstechnologieën en elektrische & elektronische systemen. Dit gebeurt deels op basis van vastgelegde testprocedures en deels op basis van 'vrij testen', waarbij je creatief op zoek dient te gaan naar fouten.
- Navigatietesten uitvoeren buiten Ford Lommel en in het buitenland (mogelijks voor meerdere dagen).
- Beoordelingen en problemen melden m.b.v. PC, volgens vooropgestelde Engelstalige terminologie en met behulp van specifieke softwarepakketten. Vaststellingen mondeling toelichten aan jouw supervisor en testingenieurs.
- Rijden met voertuigen (personenwagens en bestelwagens), zowel op de testbanen als op de openbare weg, eventueel met aanhanger.
**Profil**:
- Je hebt een diploma bachelor of graduaat (auto)elektronica of IT
- Of je hebt ervaring die relevant kan zijn voor het testen van deze nieuwe technologieën.
- Of je hebt een sterke affiniteit en interesse in deze nieuwe technologieën en je kijkt er naar uit om via een "on the job training" de nodige skills te ontwikkelen.
- Je bent vertrouwd met de werking en gebruik van multimedia-apparatuur.
- Je kan je vlot vertrouwd maken met de verschillende in-car HMI (Human-Machine Interface), hard
- en software van de toegewezen testvoertuigen.
- Je neemt nieuwe technologieën snel op.
- Je hebt een rijbewijs B en je beschikt over voldoende rijvaardigheid.
- Je hebt een goede kennis van het Nederlands, zowel gesproken als geschreven en een redelijke kennis van het Engels.
- Je bent bereid om te leren werken met een op maat gemaakt softwarepakket.
- Je bent analytisch, gedisciplineerd, nauwgezet en veiligheidsbewust.
- Je bent kwaliteit gedreven en je houdt van aanpakken
