**JOUW OPDRACHT**
- Onderzoek verrichten naar de interactie van mycotoxinen en het darmepitheel met betrekking tot het risico op darmkanker door gebruik te maken van muis-en patiënt-afgeleide darmorganoïden, in vitro cel assays, conditionele muisdarmkankermodellen en patiënt-afgeleide organoïd-gebaseerde xenograft modellen.
- Ontrafelen van de moleculaire mechanismen door middel van RNAseq en pathway analyse gevolgd door validatie aan de hand van standaard moleculaire technieken (qPCR, ELISA, bead-based multiplex immunoassays, immunokleuringen,)
- Supervisie en begeleiding van masterthesisstudenten (biomedische wetenschappen of gelijkwaardig) en doctoraatsstudenten.
**JOUW PROFIEL**
- Je hebt een diploma van Doctor op proefschrift in de gezondheidswetenschappen
- Je hebt een grondige kennis van darmhomeostase en pathologie waaronder inflammatie en kankerontwikkeling
- Je hebt sterke expertise in muismodellen voor darminflammatie, darmkanker en inflammatie-geïnduceerde darmkanker, alsook endoscopische monitoring van tumorgroei
- Je hebt praktische ervaring met standaard moleculaire celbiologische technieken.
- Je hebt ervaring in in vitro celcultuur van primaire cellen en organoïden afkomstig uit de darm
- Je hebt ervaring met het biobanken van patiënt-afgeleid biologisch materiaal
- Je hebt ervaring met de supervisie van masterthesisstudenten en begeleiding van doctoraatsstudenten
- Ervaring met schrijven van projecten
- FELASA C attest of gelijkwaardig om als proefleider te kunnen optreden in muisexperimenten
- Eerste auteur en co-auteurschappen op verschillende wetenschappelijke publicaties
- Je beschikt over excellente schriftelijke en mondelinge vaardigheden zowel in het Nederlands als het Engels
**ONS AANBOD**
- Wij bieden je een contract van bepaalde tijd voor een periode van 2 jaar.
- De indiensttreding kan ten vroegste vanaf 1/10/2024.
- De verloning gebeurt volgens barema WM1 tot WM4 (indien masterdiploma) of PD1 tot PD4 (indien doctoraatdiploma). Meer informatie over onze salarisschalen.
