Your responsibilities as a Data Analyst - Business Navigation

The Data Analyst - Business Navigation ensures consolidated management and operational reporting, performance analytics and benchmarks to internal teams, management and wholesale customers.

The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, structuring, analyzing and enriching internal and external data and translating it into strategic, tactical and operational data assets and insights that impact organizational results.


  • You are responsible for the vision, organization and maintenance of business reporting in your area of expertise. This both for strategic, tactical and operational data assets.
  • You are able to capture, describe and validate reporting requirements with your stakeholders (e.g. by generating models).
  • You are able to derive data requirements when data is structurally missing from the BI environment.
  • You need to handle various adhoc analysis queries, for which you are a trusted business partner.
  • You proactively investigate opportunities and constraints to turn data into insights (e.g. conduct a POC) and advise your internal and external stakeholders on the way forward.
  • You translate the various reporting into insights and recommend actions and improvements and this for various types of stakeholders such as management, operational executives, ecosystem stakeholders.

Our ideal Data Analyst - Business Navigation

  • Master's degree, or equivalent through experience.
  • Minimum of 35 years of relevant experience
  • You have strong IT technical skills to work with various data tools and programs and/or to learn them quickly.
  • You have a good knowledge of statistics and data algorithms.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written). Knowledge of French is a plus.
  • You have excellent analytical skills, conceptual thinking combined with a pragmatic approach
  • You are a good listener and communicate in a clear way
