- Deze onderneming is een technologische scale-up gevestigd in Leuven met als missie om opnieuw vorm te geven hoe mensen nieuws consumeren en ermee omgaan, in samenwerking met toonaangevende nieuwsmedia. Ze werken samen met vooraanstaande krantenuitgevers in Europa en de VS om hun digitale abonnees te laten groeien en kwaliteitsjournalistiek te waarborgen. Ze bieden op de cloud gebaseerde digitale editie-uitgave, analyses en personalisatie-oplossingen aan._
- Hun oplossingen versnellen de groei van kranten zoals The Telegraph, Le Monde en Kölner Stadt Anzeiger. Als thought leaders in de branche verzamelen en analyseren ze relevante branchegegevens en delen ze inzichten met onze groeiende gemeenschap van Future of News-uitgevers._
- Als Senior Business Developer ben je verantwoordelijk voor het vergroten van hun aanwezigheid op de Duitse, Oostenrijkse en Zwitserse markt. Durf het verschil te maken en impact te hebben vanaf dag één._
**Hoe ziet jouw dag eruit?**
- Neem de verantwoordelijkheid voor een portfolio van accounts en identificeer en koester nieuwe leads.
- Bouw een netwerk van vertrouwde besluitvormers op C-niveau in de krantensector.
- Ontwikkel belangrijke commerciële relaties met de doelprospect-besluitvormingseenheden.
- Schrijf voorstellen, stel contracten en bestelformulieren op en organiseer, bereid voor en volg demo's en presentaties op.
- Begrijp snel het businessmodel en technisch kader van klanten en prospects en hoe hun technologie hen kan helpen groeien.
- Daag je prospects uit in hun visie en formuleer relevante product
- en commerciële voorstellen die leiden tot inschrijvingen.
**Profiel**:
- Je bent ondernemend, bereid om volledige verantwoordelijkheid te nemen voor de bedrijfsgroei op de Duitse, Oostenrijkse en Zwitserse markten.
- Je bent gedreven en hebt een sterke motivatie om dingen gedaan te krijgen en je te blijven concentreren.
- Je haalt energie uit het omzetten van prospects in fans.
- Je bent bekend met de Customer Challenger
- of Challenger Sale-methode.
- Je bent een goede luisteraar en hebt sterke communicatie
- en presentatie vaardigheden
- Je hebt een master
- of bachelordiploma, bij voorkeur in Business Engineering, Economie of een equivalent diploma.
- Je hebt 3 tot 5 jaar bewezen ervaring in business development of verkoop, bij voorkeur in een softwareontwikkelingsbedrijf of de nieuwsmedia-industrie.
- Je hebt uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden (schriftelijk, mondeling, presenteren) in het Duits en Engels.
- Je hebt een sterke interesse in cloud-, web
- en mobiele softwaretechnologieën.
