Role Objective

  • Ensure the transformation and implementation of digital marketing competency and leadership at country level through selection of best channels and content for increasing customer engagement. This will require sharing of established best practices and training in line with local needs and regulations while maximizing customer centricity
  • Establish and refresh digital marketing principles in LOC including policies, digital metrics/KPIs, projects and training in close collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Support Marketing and Sales in the development of Digital content
  • Ensure local strategies are aligned with EUCAN digital strategy and priorities, and coordinated with the _Head of EUCAN Digital Strategy, _as well as other LOCs

Accountabilities

Environmental Pulse

  • Identify digital trends including customer engagement channels and social media behaviour and align them with business objectives to create new and innovative marketing opportunities and solutions; includes Health Care & Life sciences as well as other industries
  • Deep insight into the digital marketing environment at large, and some understanding of digital within Health & Pharma; maintains insight on emerging trends, capabilities and stakeholder preferences
  • Provide opinions on key opportunities based on horizon scanning and competitive intelligence
  • Develop and communicate forwardthinking digital marketing strategies and best practices to all internal functions that help teams improve business performance

Embed Digitalization Cross-Functionally

  • Build strong crossfunctional partnerships and external relationships;
  • Work across internal functions to increase the overall digital capability through training (from project scope to delivery) with a managed transformation/change management approach;
  • Communicate EUCAN digital marketing principles and initiatives to other functions regularly;
  • Develop a strong understanding of the local business, departments, current digital activities, regulations and policies in order to provide digital solutions fit to the needs of the business ;
  • Maintain frequent communications with business on identification and sourcing of bestinclass local digital marketing partners, and manage existing partner relations;
  • Act as an advisor to support and enable internal partners to identify actionable insights to be leveraged in developing digital activities all the way from idea generation to implementation;
  • Foster digital adoption by creating and managing a crossfunctional community of practice addressing specific pharma digital strategy and tactics

Project Development & Implementation

  • Liaise with business units on a frequent basis to communicate on digital marketing principles and in parallel gather the needs of the local businesses;
  • Assist EUCAN in building best practices and identifying pilot projects
  • Perform periodic assessment and testing of new and existing digital assets, ensuring compliance with established standards and guidelines;
