Context:
At a time when European legislation and policy developments have an increasing impact on our business and operations, we need to continue preserving our license to operate and strengthen our reputation to be in a better position to do so - though shaping upcoming policy developments.
Missions:
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Contribution to the implementation of highly effective public affairs/advocacy strategies for Danone at EU level in all key policy domains.
- Develop and implement regular contact programs with EUlevel policy stakeholders for Danone executive management,
- Collaborate with other members of the Global Public Affairs team and other relevant functions.
- Represent Danone in working groups of key European trade associations in alignment with internally agreed Danone policy positions.
- Understanding of European politics and EU institutions is a must.
- Background in law and political science is a plus.
- Student who has just ended his/her studies and his willing to have a first "hands on" experience.
- Fluency in English and 1 or 2 other official languages of the European Union are a prerequisite.
Are you eligible for a V.I.E?
V.I.E is a type of contract linked to Business France (French public organism) allowing Europeans to work internationally for a designated company.
- You must be aged 18 to 28. You must have completed national service obligation.
- You must be a citizen of the European Economic Area.
- You must have never worked in the country in which you wish to do your V.I.E.
- You have never done a V.I.E before.
What are the contractual advantages of the V.I.E ?
- There are no taxes and charges on salary, as a V.I.E your social security is covered by April international.
- You will be granted with 2,5 days off per month.
- Your gratification is fixed according to the Business France grid.
- The cost of your backandforth flight or train tickets is covered.
