Job description
As Business Development Manager (BDM) Specialty Power you will report to the Marketing Manager of Atlas Copco Rental Europe and will be part of the European Marketing & Communication Team.
Together with your colleague, BDM Specialty Air, you will form a strong team to support & grow the business in Europe.
Your mission:
Rental Europe has a team of regional sales managers that depend on your support to grow the business. Identifying business opportunities and knowledge and best practices will be your focus. You will support the EU sales managers to have a well-trained and motivated sales force.
Your goals:
Making sure the Atlas Copco brand is First in mind—First in choice for Rental Europe customers
Support the European sales team with technical and commercial advice and input
Promoting and launching new products via classroom or Teams-meetings
Reporting business trends and areas for improvement
Your tasks include
- Give support to all European countries for big or complex enquiries & projects, including regular customer visits
- Provide the Sales Force with the right sales tools
- Play an active role in price management
- Give commercial and technical training to the sales force
- Organize workshops with Regional management & Sales force
- Support the acquisition strategy and look actively for opportunities
- Support or execute regional & local marketing activities
Experience requirements
Several years of sales and/or marketing experience, preferably in industrial related rental, sales or service business as well as customer centers experience.
A good business understanding in a service environment operating 24/7 is a prerequisite in this position.
Knowledge / Educational requirements
University degree - technically and commercially oriented - or similar through experience.
Sound knowledge of Atlas Copco generators (and battery packs) is a main asset and good knowledge of 'The Way We Do Things' is a must.
