To ensure this complex job goes off without a hitch, Supply Chain teams work with a network of more than 50 distribution centers, thousands of accounts, and more than 100,000 retail stores worldwide - making the impossible happen every single day.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
Our Customs team takes care of a flawless execution of the import and export processes across our supply chain, while maintaining and ensuring compliancy within predefined standards.
The constantly evolving market expectations and priorities set the pace for our team and to stay on top of the game you'll be continuously building positive relationships with the internal and external partners.
In this role you'll lead, mentor, and encourage a team of customs specialists. Your team will be responsible for smooth execution of the customs processes as well as working on process improvements.Your role as a Customs Coach is also to support the team in the day-to-day execution, issue management and resolution, guide them through different transitions and focus on innovative solutions to continuously improve Nike's processes.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
You'll lead a team of specialists and report to a Customs Manager who will help to achieve your development goals.
You'll participate in cross functional meetings with our internal partners (TNO, Finance, Technology, Distribution,) and represent your team within wider meetings.
What you bring:
- You're interested in custom processes, logistics and international trade and are enthusiastic to grow in this space
- Service minded person with a passion towards coaching, leading, and inspiring a team
- Flexible and stressresistant teammate
- Excellent communicator in English, Dutch is a strong plus
- Multitasker who can prioritize and keep an overview of different processes
- Analytical and critical attitude with ability to work with data to identify improvement opportunities
- A selfsteering teammate with proven partner management skills
