**Policy Officer - Trade & Economics
reporting to the director of the Trade and Economics department.
- our association's work on the EU's common agricultural policy (CAP)
- our association's work on international dairy trade
- economic
data collection and analysis for the dairy sector

and she/he will be responsible for
- drafting position papers on the basis of a membership coordination
- collecting, processing, and evaluating economic and statistical data sets
- preparing and driving internal meetings in close cooperation with the chairpersons and the EDA leadership
- representing the European Dairy Association's/our members' interests at external meetings.

Profile:

- strong interest in dairy / agri-food markets
- master degree, ideally in agro-economics
- ideally 3 years work experience at EU level, understanding of the European institutions and their functioning

  • Excellent to mothertongue level of English, knowledge of other languages is an asset
- flexible, stress-resistant and dynamic team player
- capable to prioritise and proactive in pursuing our dairy topics
- able to work on own initiative and take up her/his responsibilities

We offer:

- a full time role with fixed contract (Belgian CDI) plus benefits, option to telework up to 2 days/week;
