Applications Manager
Ardo, a global provider of frozen vegetables, herbs, and fruits, is seeking an Applications Manager to join their team. With over 4000 employees and 17 production sites across 8 countries, Ardo is dedicated to delivering high-quality products to more than 100 countries, generating a turnover of over 1.4 billion euros. Upholding a mission to preserve nature's gifts, Ardo boasts an extensive network of operations encompassing growing areas, production units, freezing units, and quality control measures.
Your Scope
The Group Application Manager role at Ardo involves overseeing the application landscape, with a primary focus on SAP S/4HANA and other software tools. Responsibilities include aligning the application vision with the company's overall vision, managing the application team and projects, analyzing business needs, and making strategic decisions regarding technology procurement.
- Strategically navigate buy vs. build decisions, insourcing, and outsourcing
- Place significant emphasis on compliance and data security
- Provide leadership in developing, optimizing, and innovating the ERP and other applications
- Coach and lead a customer-oriented team, fostering a culture of innovation and ICT business partnership
- Collaborate with IT leadership to streamline IT operations and drive organizational change
- Manage ICT budget and implement best practices for delivery and support
Your Profile
The ideal candidate for this role possesses senior-level experience in applications, SAP, and management, along with the following qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
- Expertise in SAP and a strong understanding of S/4HANA
- Proven track record in project delivery and team management
- Experience in strategic planning, change management, and decision-making
- Ability to lead both strategically and operationally with strong communication skills
- Familiarity with IT market trends, technologies, and change management principles
- Highly energetic and motivated with a positive attitude towards team and organizational development
- Language skills: English (must), Dutch, and French (asset)
- Willingness to travel within Europe when required
