YOUR TEAM


Within the The European Green Sky Directorate, the "Master Plan & Architecture" service works closely with ATM stakeholders to develop a strategic view of the evolution of ATM in Europe, through the maintenance of the ATM Master Plan and the development of the European ATM Architecture.

This work is mostly carried out within the context of the SESAR R&D Programme.

YOUR ROLE

Your role will be to:

  • Contribute to the development, planning and monitoring of the European Master Plan Unit Work Programme including effective resources' allocation and performance of regular quality assurance checks.
  • Identify risks and opportunities, anticipate potential issues, and provide recommendations to adapt approaches and drive service's performance improvements using KPIs.
  • Lead and/or contribute to ATM related projects and initiatives and participate to working groups, stakeholders' meetings, etc as needed.
  • Contribute to Agency strategic documents/plans (ABP, AWP, manpower plan, ).
  • Support the implementation of the budget and the sound execution of the contracts (procurements, technical progress, etc).
  • Act as a change agent in view of facilitating the implementation of an agile Work Programme.
  • Collaborate effectively and consult with team members and external stakeholders to achieve the best work sharing conditions.
  • Work closely and support the Head of Service in various other transversal activities, produce dashboards, reporting and briefings to support decisionmaking process as needed.
  • Carry out any other task in line with the main purpose of the job.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES

  • University degree of at least 4 years in a relevant field (e.g. Aeronautical Engineering, Air Transport, ; or Business Management, etc).
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience.
  • Experience in technical and operational aspects of European Air Traffic Management.
  • Experience in business development/business planning ideally gained in the air transport/aviation environment.
  • Practical experience with change management best practices and methodologies.
  • Experience in developing KPI/metrics and performing data analytics (e.g. visual management in agile environment).
  • Project management skills.
  • Drafting skills in English.
  • Analytical skills: You analyse information and are able to identify relationships.
  • Managing change: You supportthe change process.
  • Communication: You are able to foster twoway communication.
  • Team work: You know how to build collaborative team(s).
  • Organisational awareness: You demonstrate an understanding of the Agency's activities and values.
  • Ability to work in a multinational and multicultural environment.
  • Professional conduct in line with the corporate behaviours of the Agency, i.e. resultdriven, readiness to change, customer focus, integrityand teamplayer approach.
The levels relate to the Common European Framework of Referencesfor languages (CEFR).

The internal staff member with a determined contract will be offered, in principle, an appointment for 5 Year(s) with a maximum total duration of 9 years.
