Dark Light specializes in the temporary deployment of talented professionals for data and business intelligence projects. We are currently seeking a Data Governance Consultant for one of our major clients, a key player in the Belgian energy landscape.

Tasks

As a Data Governance Consultant, you will be working closely with other contingent workers and staff to build a sustainable, green, and reliable energy infrastructure that stimulates economic growth.

Your tasks will include:

  • Contributing to improving the data governance methodology by providing feedback from the field.
  • Working with a business purpose while considering data organization, people, processes, and technology.
  • Understanding and analyzing business needs.
  • Seeking solutions that quickly bring benefits while ensuring long-term sustainability.
  • Advising and training (i.e., Data Owners, Data Stewards, Business, and IT teams) through on-the-job coaching.
  • Continuously reviewing and ensuring the transversality of the Business Glossary by formalizing the business definitions of data and their purpose.
  • Managing expectations and collaborating with multidisciplinary stakeholders, departments, and product teams.
  • Acting as the ambassador of One Team for the Customer and always generating business value
