Liedekerke's in-house library offers crucial support by providing legal knowledge to the lawyers. The Knowledge Management team, composed of three professionals, plays a pivotal role in facilitating legal research and managing a vast document repository.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate for the Knowledge Officer role will assist lawyers with their legal and business information requirements, maintain and update the library, manage legal databases, support compliance procedures, and handle administrative tasks including jurisdiction monitoring, seminar registrations, and invoicing follow-up.

  • Maintain databases and conduct legal searches.
  • Support compliance by researching new matters.
  • Manage administrative duties such as monitoring jurisdictions and handling seminar registrations.

Profile

The ideal Knowledge Officer should have a degree in Paralegal studies or Law, Business Management, or Library & Documentation Management, along with at least one year of relevant experience. Familiarity with library processes is a plus. An interest in exploring new legal and business information sources, like AI, is crucial.

  • Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Collaborative, autonomous, proactive, and motivated.
