Your main task as Senior Courier Coordinator (m/f/d) and thus as the first contact person for our couriers will be to manage, supervise, and continuously develop a fleet of approx. 300 drivers. In addition, the position includes the following:
- Support the City Operations Manager in the day-to-day operational management of the Hub including facilities, Courier planning, and fleet management
- Assist with the strategic planning, leading from the front to identify hub-specific leading issues and work for effective resolutions to meet and deliver local KPI objectives
- Maintain a safe work environment for Hub staff and Couriers by conducting thorough incident reviews, overseeing Hub compliance and health and safety standards including fire safety
- Deliver the localised performance metrics targets through oversight of the Courier Coordinator team, analysis of performance data, reporting of key metrics, and monitoring of restaurant partners
- Manage a team of Courier Coordinators including sickness, employee relations issues, and holiday planning
- First experience in a relevant role (logistics, last-mile delivery, fleet management, office management, customer service, etc.); first leadership experience is an advantage
- You are able to work onsite and in shifts between 8.00AM PM as well as on weekends
- Excellent English skills, Dutch is a plus
- You are stress-resistant and can work solution-oriented
- You have a proactive, well-organized, calm and prudent approach to your job
- An open, honest and direct communicative manner, as well as a team player mentality
