Port of Antwerp-Bruges International (PoABI) is de dochteronderneming van Port of Antwerp-Bruges dat zich specialiseert in wereldwijde havenontwikkelingsprojecten en havengerelateerde consultancydossiers in regio’s als het Midden-Oosten, India, het Afrikaans continent, Brazilië en Zuid-Oost-Azië. PoABI is bovendien actief als mede-aandeelhouder van de haven van Duqm in het Sultanaat Oman en van Porto do Açu in Brazilië. Daarnaast beheert Port of Antwerp-Bruges International ook de haven van Cotonou in Benin en bestudeert zij meerdere nieuwe opportuniteiten.
Voor de realisatie van dergelijke dossiers, wendt PoABI de ruime expertise en knowhow aan die aanwezig is in de Antwerpse haven en gaat PoABI specifieke partnerships aan om deze projecten te realiseren. Als lid van het managementteam ben je mee verantwoordelijk voor de strategische ontwikkeling en uitbouw van onze organisatie. Je ontwikkelt en implementeert mee een coherent en toekomstgericht beleid voor de organisatie. Je vertaalt de strategische visie naar operationele doelstellingen en biedt onze klanten innovatieve en kwalitatieve oplossingen aangepast aan hun behoeften en eisen. 

In je rol van Director Port Projects:

* Je bent verantwoordelijk voor alle aspecten die noodzakelijk zijn voor het beheer een versterking van de structurele partnerships en investeringsdossiers
* Je ontwikkelt met je team een lange termijn visie over de portefeuille van strategische partnerships en investeringsdossiers. Hierbij stuur je de bestuurders en de senior projectleiders in de verschillende projecten aan en waak je over de uitvoering van de contractueel vastgelegde doelstellingen
* Je zoekt samen met je team permanent naar nieuwe opportuniteiten
* Je stroomlijnt de bedrijfsprocessen en projecten binnen je afdeling
* Vanuit je expertise neem je deel aan de consultancyprojecten en deel je als expert je kennis aan professionals vanuit de hele wereld Profiel * Je hebt een relevant diploma op masterniveau, bij voorkeur een ingenieurs of financiële opleiding
* Bij voorkeur minstens 10 jaar werkervaring in een leidinggevende functie, met nadruk op ervaring in projectmanagement en het beheer van participaties en investeringsdossiers. Consultancyervaring is een troef
* Een gedegen financiële kennis, in het bijzonder over de financiering en ontwikkeling van infrastructuurprojecten is een must
* Talenkennis is in onze internationale werkomgeving erg belangrijk (Nederlands, Engels en Frans)
* Je bent een geboren leider die anderen weet te inspireren, overtuigen en creëren zonder de operationele context uit het oog te verliezen
* Je bent regelmatig in het buitenland om Port of Antwerp-Bruges International te vertegenwoordigen.
