About Our Client

Our client is a leading player in the packaging and industrial solutions sector, recognized for its innovation, operational excellence and commitment to sustainable manufacturing.

With a strong footprint across Europe and ambitious growth plans, the company is looking to strengthen its commercial presence within the DACH region (Germany, Austria & Switzerland) through the recruitment of a highly driven Business Development Manager.

This opportunity is ideally suited to a true sales developer, someone who enjoys identifying opportunities, opening new doors and driving market expansion rather than simply managing existing relationships.

  • Identify, prospect and convert new customers across targeted industrial sectors.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Develop long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Understand customer needs and propose tailored technical solutions.
  • Lead negotiations and successfully close commercial agreements.
  • Collaborate closely with internal technical, operational and customer service teams.
  • Represent the company at trade fairs, industry events and customer meetings.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM reporting.

  • Strong prospecting, networking and relationship-building skills.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • The resilience and determination required to develop business within a competitive market.

Experience within packaging, manufacturing, industrial products, paper, printing, labels, plastics or other technical environments is considered a strong advantage.

German is the key success factor for this role.

Given the strategic focus on the DACH region, candidates must possess:

  • Perfect proficiency in German
  • Professional French and/or English

You must be capable of conducting negotiations, presentations and commercial discussions at senior decision-maker level entirely in German.

  • Performance-related bonus
  • Company car and fuel/charging card
  • Full package of fringe benefits
  • Significant autonomy and ownership of the DACH market
  • Exposure to an international customer portfolio
