JOB DESCRIPTION - ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- As an HR business partner, you will take on two assignments:
- On the one hand, HR support for the assigned teams in East and West Flanders,
- On the other hand,you will be jointly responsible for recruitment and selection of central positions
- You systematically map out the HR needs of regional management and supervisors, translate them into concrete actions and supervise implementation. In doing so, you will work closely with the HR business partners of other departments and regions and act as the first point of contact for HR issues, with a particular focus on coaching, recruitment and selection, appreciation policy, talent and competency management, career policy and HR procedures.
DELIVERABLES
- A periodic analysis of HR needs and priorities per assigned team or department.
- Advice and guidance for managers on HR issues and in coaching and appraisal interviews.
- A high-quality execution and follow-up of recruitment, selection, talent and career processes.
- Correct implementation and clear communication of HR processes, procedures and projects within the departments involved.
- Concrete improvement proposals that increase the efficiency, uniformity and user-friendliness of HR processes.
- Regular feedback to management and the HR colleagues involved about progress, bottlenecks and results.
- Support the managers in the implementation of an organizational change
- Conduct reintegration interviews with employees who return after a long-term absence
- Conduct career interviews
EXPECTED RESULTS
- The managers and management of the assigned teams and departments are supported in a timely, competently and practical manner in their HR responsibilities. HR processes are applied consistently, actions are demonstrably followed up and bottlenecks are tackled proactively. This results in high-quality recruitment, stronger managers, an effective talent and appreciation policy and continuous improvement of HR services within the teams and departments involved.
SKILLS
- Proven experience within HR domains with generalist content
- Demonstrated experience in leadership development
- Demonstrable experience in supporting managers in various areas of HR
- Higher education (Master or Bachelor) in Social Sciences, HRM
- Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR - level C2.
- Demonstrable experience in reintegration guidance
- Proven experience in team development
- Demonstrable experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, ...)
- Demonstrable experience of social legislation and labour legislation
- Knowledge of social legislation
- Demonstrable experience in the Agency for Integration and Civic Integration
- Demonstrable experience in the Flemish government or organisations linked to it
- Higher education (Master or Bachelor) in social sciences, HRM => Upload diploma or certificate.
