Junior Financial Controller

Voor één van onze klanten zijn wij op zoek naar een enthousiaste boekhouder met een passie voor cijfers om de backoffice herverzekering te versterken. De dienst herverzekering functioneert als een eigen bedrijfje waarin de boekhouding intern wordt gevoerd. De taken zijn gevarieerd en afhankelijk van de fase van een intern project. Als externe medewerker neem je de recurrente taken van de teamleden over, zodat zij gedeeltelijk vrijgemaakt worden om aan het project te werken. Voorbeelden van taken die je zal opnemen: maandelijkse afsluiting, uitvoeren van verschillende boekingen, versturen van final accounts naar externe partijen, opvolging van betalingen en ontvangsten, en het opstellen van maandelijkse rapporteringen via bestaande rapporten. Naast een zeer goede boekhoudkundige kennis en oog voor detail, wordt een zeer goede kennis van het Nederlands (moedertaal) en een basiskennis van het Engels verwacht. Je komt terecht in een klein team waar onderlinge communicatie belangrijk is, waardoor goede communicatie- en samenwerkingsvaardigheden essentieel zijn. Aangezien de taken gevarieerd zijn, wordt ook flexibiliteit en zin voor initiatief verwacht. Onze klant biedt een aangename werkomgeving binnen een team van specialisten, waar kennis gedeeld wordt over een zeer specifieke niche binnen de verzekeringswereld, namelijk herverzekering. Dit is een ideale functie voor een junior profiel dat snel veel wil bijleren van meer ervaren collega's. De werkplek is gelegen in Leuven, zeer gunstig naast het station van Leuven. Er is een vaste fysieke teamdag op dinsdag en voor de rest wordt flexibiliteit geboden met een maximum van 50% thuiswerk.
