RISK CONTROL SENIOR OFFICERThe Risk Control Senior Officer will play an important role in how Advanzia manages a sound risk control framework that meets internal and regulatory obligations. You will actively engage with internal stakeholders and provide quantitative support in risk identification, monitoring and control. This opportunity is a full-time CDI contract. As a Senior Risk Control Officer, you will be responsible for the following activities:
Provide an overview of the regulatory aspects of risk control topics affecting the bank
Support the development of the Pillar III report
Develop strategic risk management documentation, particularly the risk and own funds strategy, recovery plan, NPL strategy, etc.
Provide risk-related information for management reports, financial planning, audit and ad-hoc requests
Design and continuously improve quantitative risk management and stress testing tools
University degree in economics, finance or similar
At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in risk management, banking or finance
Knowledge of the banking industry, including relevant risk regulations and market practices
Good command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with different statistical tools and methodologies, particularly Python, R and SQL
Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team
Excellent time management skills and a structured approach with the ability to set priorities in a fast-changing and demanding environment
Fluency in English
