About the Role We are seeking a skilled and proactive Windows Packager (SCCM) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of application packaging, deployment, and automation, while ensuring seamless integration into our existing systems. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing efficient, secure, and reliable solutions to meet user and business needs. Key Responsibilities SHS Process Management: Conduct comprehensive intake analyses, including research of existing applications, requirement gathering, and security pre-checks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams during SHS meetings to discuss and evaluate requests. Follow up on SHS tasks and RITM management to ensure smooth workflow. Automation and Tools Development: Develop and maintain automation tools to enhance reporting and operational efficiency. Application Packaging: Create silent and automated installations of application sets in compliance with Microsoft and internal packaging guidelines. Manage intake and documentation processes for all packaging activities. Security and Compliance: Perform thorough security checks to ensure applications and deployments meet organizational standards. SCCM and Intune Management: Import and create applications in Intune, ensuring proper integration. Manage SCCM applications, including deployment (standalone/mass) and group or task sequence configurations. Provide backup support for urgent tasks when the original packager is unavailable. Document and maintain SCCM processes. Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor deployments and manage RITM/tasks to ensure seamless operations. Deliver L3 support and troubleshooting for incident and problem management. VM Support: Prepare and configure virtual machines, support vSphere, and manage test environment configurations. Oversee machine creation, configuration, and maintenance for various teams (Asset/Eng/TTT/Business). PMPC and Testing: Install pre/post scripts and perform testing to ensure successful deployments. Project Collaboration: Participate in project meetings and contribute expertise to automation and packaging initiatives. Key Qualifications Proven experience in application packaging and deployment using SCCM and Intune. Strong knowledge of Microsoft packaging guidelines and security practices. Hands-on experience with automation tools and reporting. Proficiency in virtual machine management and vSphere. Solid understanding of deployment monitoring and incident/problem management processes. Excellent troubleshooting and L3 support capabilities. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
