- Implement Motul's long-term vision, mission, values and goals, in collaboration with the entire sales team
- Build a nationwide network and develop and implement a sales strategy
- Develop and review guidelines, pricing, product mix and brand portfolio
- Regular monitoring and review of sales performance and improvement of sales strategies
- Monitor sales figures and annual targets of distributors / wholesalers
- Develop and lead efforts to meet the overall sales plan in your area of responsibility
- Develop and maintain business contacts with distributors, wholesalers, repair shops and MOTUL customers
- Actively contact potential customers and acquire new customers in the motorcycle and automotive industries
- Preparation and delivery of customer offers in close cooperation with distributors, wholesalers and workshops
- Participation in sales meetings with customers, wholesalers and distributors
- Development, implementation and support of MOTUL promotions
- Monitoring of customer orders and control of their timely execution
- Carrying out competitor analyses
- Cooperation with original equipment manufacturers, associations (motorsports, industry associations, etc.) and the press
- Representation of MOTUL at trade fairs, motorsport events, associations
- University degree (Bachelor)
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in Business Development and Sales, coming from the lubricants / automotive sector
- Traceable 3 years of experience in leading sales and / or marketing teams
- General knowledge in the majority of operations-related systems (ERP) and profound knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Field-tested technical skills
- Project management skills
- Financial understanding and experience. Knowledge of costing and margin calculations and a good understanding of P&L and Supply Chain
- Demonstrable success in negotiation of high value contracts with customers
- Knowledge of and experience in developing a marketing and promotion strategy on a global level, comprising:
- Selection and implementation of proper marketing tools to increase the market share
- Customer-specific strategy
- Experience in global logistics and material movement projects and cost understanding in such projects
- Fluent in Dutch and business fluent english skills (verbal and written)
- Willingness to travel (60% of time)
