Onze klant is een sterk groeiend tankopslagbedrijf in een internationale omgeving en is o.a. actief in de haven van Gent & Antwerpen. Wij zijn gespecialiseerd in de opslag van liquide goederen en logistieke afhandeling voor derden. Voor een van onze locaties in Antwerpen (rechteroever) zijn wij op zoek naar een: OPERATIONS MANAGER
Als operations manager ben je verantwoordelijk over 5 ploegen . Deze ploegen staan dagelijks in voor het laden en lossen van schepen en trucks met liquide producten en voor andere werkopdrachten, zoals het veilig in- of uitdienststellen van installaties, operationele werkvergunningen, housekeeping, etc. Aangezien zij een belangrijke en onmisbare schakel vormen in onze logistieke (en administratieve) flow is het dus van groot belang om op een fijne manier met hen samen te werken en elke dag het beste in hen naar boven te halen. Ook met de maintenance supervisor vorm je een belangrijke tandem. Hij dient immers het preventief en curatief onderhoud af te stemmen met operations.
Als operations manager speel je een belangrijke rol in het bepalen van opleidingsnoden in je team en het evalueren & opvolgen van je medewerkers. Bovendien vereist deze functie dat je de werkinstructies up-to-date houdt en de operators op de hoogte brengt van nieuwe of aangepaste instructies.
Je wordt dagelijks gecoacht door de Terminal Manager en rapporteert ook aan hem.
Jouw kwaliteiten
Een hogere opleiding in technische of maritieme wetenschappen;
Een stevige portie natuurlijk leiderschap waarbij je de klemtoon legt op het positief coachen en bijsturen van je team;
Geavanceerde MS Office kennis en vloeiend gesproken/geschreven Engels;
Stressbestendig, zelfstandig, dynamisch en betrouwbaar.
