Finance Manager, Financial Accounting

Robert Half Talent Solutions is currently looking for an International Finance Manager (m/f/x) for a permanent position based in Brussels. Our client is a fast growing company active in the information technology (IT) sector .
As International Finance Manager (m/f/x) you will be responsible for:
Oversee daily financial operations, including cash management, liquidity oversight, invoicing, collections, and expenses approval ;
Provide expert guidance on complex financial, fiscal, and accounting issues, driving process improvements and managing crises;
Coordinate finance-related projects and supervise administrative functions as needed ;
Manage monthly and quarterly accounting cycles, including closing activities, cash flow forecasting, tax and VAT review, and financial reporting;
Lead communication and performance tracking with external finance partners, auditors, and banks; Supervise and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement;
Drive year-end close and group consolidation processes, manage audits, and ensure compliance in statutory and legal financial reporting ;
Oversee budget preparation, annual tax reviews, ad-hoc declarations, and legal documentation submission;
Lead ad-hoc and strategic initiatives such as audits, new entity setups, partnership negotiations, and financial presentations ;
Advise on tax optimization, cost efficiency, and organizational structuring for multiple jurisdictions.
The required profile for the International Finance Manager (m/f/x) position:
~ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; 8–12+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years managing multi-entity, cross-border operations under IFRS ;
~ Strong background in cash management/treasury, audit management, tax/VAT compliance across EU jurisdictions, and group consolidation ;
~ Proven stakeholder management with banks, auditors, and authorities; Excellent English and French (additional European languages are an asset).
