Nexeo Belgium is a consultancy company supporting its clients in the banking, finance, insurance, and public sectors throughout all stages of their transformation projects — from business consulting to the implementation of IT and operational solutions. We are currently looking for an AML / KYC Expert to join one of our clients' Operations team, ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations while supporting operational excellence and risk management. Your Mission As an AML / KYC Expert, you will play a key role in ensuring that all client files and transactions comply with internal policies, legal requirements, and regulatory standards. You will work closely with compliance, risk, and operations teams to strengthen the overall control framework and support day-to-day activities. Your Responsibilities Perform daily AML / KYC operational analyses and controls. Ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements related to customer due diligence (CDD) and transaction monitoring. Support the management and resolution of AML / KYC issues and ensure timely escalation when necessary. Contribute to ad hoc projects related to process improvement, data quality, or regulatory updates. Prepare and deliver reports, dashboards, and documentation for management and regulatory bodies. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize KYC processes and improve operational efficiency. Your Profile Experience & Knowledge Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in AML, KYC, or financial compliance. Strong expertise in AML / KYC regulations and understanding of operational compliance processes. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Law, or a related field. ACAMS certification (or equivalent) is a strong asset. Excellent command of MS Office and SharePoint; familiarity with various IT tools. Strong interest in finance and risk management. Languages French: Excellent written and spoken communication. Dutch: Excellent written and spoken communication. English: Good written and spoken communication. Soft Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Customer-oriented and able to work independently. Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities. Stress-resistant, flexible, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality mindset.
