Outsourcing Officer – Third Party Risk Management Permanent position | Belgium | Brussels - Hybrid working Salary - €70,0000 - €120,0000 per annum The opportunity In an increasingly complex and regulated environment, effective management of third-party and outsourcing risk is critical to operational resilience. Our client is strengthening its outsourcing and Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) capability and is looking to hire an Outsourcing Officer as a permanent member of staff . This is a high-impact role sitting at the crossroads of regulation, risk, procurement, IT, and business operations. You will act as an independent control function , providing oversight, challenge, and assurance on outsourcing arrangements, while working closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation. The role is open to mid- to senior-level candidates who bring sound judgement, regulatory awareness, and the ability to translate complexity into clear, actionable insights. Your role and responsibilities As Outsourcing Officer, you will: Oversee and continuously monitor third-party and outsourcing arrangements, with a particular focus on critical and important functions Ensure Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) requirements are embedded throughout the procurement and outsourcing lifecycle Monitor performance and risk indicators, including SLAs, KPIs, KRIs, concentration risk, exit and business continuity plans Identify, assess, and escalate outsourcing-related risks and issues in a timely and proportionate manner Prepare and deliver clear, high-quality reporting to internal committees, Senior Management, and supervisory authorities Support regulatory interactions, audits, and inspections related to outsourcing and ICT third-party risk Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and policy frameworks (e.g. EBA, DORA, GDPR, ICT outsourcing guidelines) Contribute to cross-functional initiatives aimed at strengthening governance, operational resilience, and process maturity Act as a trusted partner to Procurement, IT, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and the Business while maintaining independent judgement Your profile We are looking for a proactive and engaged professional with a strong interest in outsourcing and third-party risk. You bring: A university degree and relevant professional experience in outsourcing, third-party risk, procurement risk, IT risk, compliance, or a related control function A solid understanding of regulatory expectations in a financial services or other highly regulated environment Strong analytical skills and the ability to form clear, balanced risk-based judgements A structured, organised way of working and the ability to manage multiple topics in parallel Confidence in communicating with senior stakeholders and translating complex issues into clear messages A hands-on mindset, curiosity, and willingness to learn and grow in a developing regulatory landscape Nice to have Experience with DORA / ICT outsourcing or operational resilience frameworks Exposure to regulatory interactions, audits, or supervisory reporting Trilingual skills ( Dutch, French, English ) What’s on offer A permanent, full-time position in a stable, regulated organisation A role with visibility, responsibility, and long-term relevance Competitive salary and a flexible benefits package The opportunity to grow and evolve alongside a maturing outsourcing and TPRM function Please do send across an up to date CV to eobiechefu@welovesalt.com
