We are currently seeking a PMO Project Implementation SL EMEA to join our Service Logistics team where you will develop a high level of understanding of DHL's Project Management function in the company, encourage and govern the use of the DePICT® Methodology. You’ll also support project managers and represent the Project Management Office function.
**Your responsibilities at a glance**:
- Ensure that project goals and objectives are met within agreed upon time, scope, budget and resource requirements by proper and adequate planning, control and status reporting.
- Ensure that issues are managed and properly recorded on the projects, resolution driven for a satisfactory outcome and escalated as appropriate
- Customer interface for large/cross country implementations
- Ensure all stakeholders are fed with project progress record with a well structured communications plan and ensure all communication is tailored to stakeholder need
- Ensure the health of the SL EMEA projects, risks and mitigation plans proper managemend in place and all risks proactively communicated
- Liase with customer & all functions involved in case of issues (among others BD, OPS, CSS, IT, Finance and HR)
- Promotes and governs the Project Management training for the Project Management community in compliance with the Global Training Policy Governance.
- Understands the process and framework for delivering successful projects in the Region
- Responsible for managing the DePICT project management methodology
- Deliver best practice project documentation, completed to quality standards, kept upto date, available throughout the project and maintained in the project database (Planview)
- Provide project management support to the sales / bid management process
- Implement previous lessons learnt output and feedback to drive continuous improvement
- Promote and support changes to continuously improve Project Management
**Requirements for the Job**:
- A solid understanding of the supply chain industry and preferably a university degree
- DePICT project management methodology
- ACT change management methodology
- DMAIC process improvement methodology
- O2D understanding and PlanView expert
- Professional project management certification e.g. IPMA Level C, PMI PMP, Prince 2 Practitioner
