**Research Associate - Assay Development**
**Summary**
The incumbent will be involved in the optimization and qualification of flow cytometry and ELISpot assays. He/She will prepare and review procedures and experimental documentation for methods. Finally, the incumbent will lead all aspects of a given development study.
**Main Responsibilities**
- Develops and qualifies assays (multi-parametric immune monitoring assays, ELISpot);
- Prepares and reviews required documentation for experimentation (ex: worksheets);
- Conduct development experiments;
- Leads development studies (documentation, schedule, reagents, inventories, resources, etc.);
- Writes methods;
- Records associated documentation relevant to the tasks at hand as per appropriate SOP and applicable GLP regulations and GCLP guidelines.
**Education**
- Bachelor’s, master’s degree, or PhD in Immunology, Molecular Biology or in Biochemistry.
**Main Requirements**
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role;
- Good knowledge of blood sample processing, cell cryopreservation techniques, cell culture techniques and antibody staining procedures;
- Strong experience in PBMC isolation and Flow cytometry;
- Good communication skills in French and in English;
- Ability to prioritize and to work in a fast-paced environment;
- Organizational skills;
- Being responsible and diligent;
- Able to collaborate with others.
