**Our Team**:
Manufacturing Sciences, Analytics en Technology (MSAT) is opgedeeld in **3 subafdelingen**, namelijk **cel cultuur**, **purificatie **en **analytical**. Het lab support team werkt overheen deze 3 subafdelingen en staat in contact met de commerciële productie en de kwaliteitscontrole afdeling.

Doel van de functie is om te **plannen**, **organiseren**, **uitvoeren **en **opvolgen **van (ondersteunende) werkzaamheden voor labo personeel en/of andere interne opdrachtgevers, conform verkregen richtlijnen en instructies, teneinde de afgesproken dienstverlening binnen de vooropgestelde timing en kwaliteitseisen op te leveren.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Voert ondersteunende labo-werkzaamheden uit (algemeen routine onderhoud van labo-toestellen, kalibreren pH meters, uitvoeren van reinigingen, buffer voorbereidingen, etc.)
- Voert ondersteunende en administratieve taken uit (opvolgen van shipments, invullen van transportmeldingen en transportaanvragen)
- Werkt zelfstandig binnen afgelijnde werkafspraken en procedures

De productiesite in Geel is een onderdeel van Sanofi’s Industrial Operations network en is het Center of Excellence voor de productie van therapeutische enzymen voor de behandeling van de ziekte van Pompe’s.

De productie van deze enzymen gebeurt via celculturen in grote bioreactoren, gevolgd door de opzuivering ervan. Op de site in Geel zetten zo’n 650 enthousiaste medewerkers zich elke dag ten volle in om dit complexe proces in goede banen te leiden.
