**Organisatie omschrijving**:
Onze klant behoort tot een familiale bedrijvengroep met een gespecialiseerde focus op voeding voor huisdieren. Met een stevige omzet van 500 miljoen euro en bijna 500 mensen in dienst gespreid over verschillende productievestigingen in Europa behoren ze tot de Europese top in hun sector.
Het bedrijf waarvoor wij op zoek zijn naar een Area Sales Manager is gespecialiseerd in de productie van honden -en kattenvoeding.
**Omschrijving**:
- Je beheert en prospecteert voor je eigen klantenportefeuille binnen de Europese markt. Daarnaast beheer je een aantal key accounts in je regio's.
- Je houdt steeds de vinger aan de pols bij je klanten en bouwt een prijspolitiek en landenstrategie uit.
- Je closet deals, sluit contracten af,...
- Je staat zelf in voor de opmaak van een volledig verkoopplan rekening houdende met de vooropgestelde groei. Concrete acties uitwerken hoort hier uiteraard bij.
- Je volgt de markt op de voet.
- Je werkt in een klein commercieel team en rapporteert aan de international sales manager.
**Profiel**:
- (Een eerste) ervaring in een soortgelijke functie.
- Ervaring in een merkomgeving.
- Je hebt een passie en feeling voor de producten en de sector.
- Je bent een gedreven, commercieel en ondernemende persoonlijkheid.
- Een analytische geest hoort absoluut bij je kerncompetenties.
- Nederlands, Frans, Engels is geen probleem. Overal in Europa slaag je er in om vlot contacten te leggen.
- Uiteraard hoort regelmatig reizen bij deze uitdagende functie
