Production Manager Weekend

For our sterile production site located in Brussels (Neder-Over-Heembeek) which is currently expanding its capabilities, we are looking for a **Production Manager Weekend**: you will be responsible for the management of all manufacturing operations, in compliance with quality and safety standards and within the allocated budget. You will also act as a leader for the improvement of the operation of the department. The Production Manager reports directly to the Manufacturing Manager.

**The Role**
- Ensure compliance with GMP/Security standards and internal procedures in all the department's activities.
- Launch and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow-up on industry procedures, manufacturing records, audits, and corrective/preventive actions.
- Follow-up of validation activities (media fill, task and equipment validation).
- Compliance with the annual allocated budgets and preparation of future budgets.
- Personnel management: recruitment, organization, motivation, evaluation and development.
- Definition of the planning according to capacities, in collaboration with the Supply Chain Manager and organization accordingly: respect of the defined deadlines.
- Participation in the definition of a maintenance schedule with the collaboration of the technical department.
- Definition of investments in collaboration with the engineering department.
- Relations with customers, during audits, technical meetings, and various visits of new customers with the NPI team.
- Relations with auditors during inspections and visits.
- University degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Pharmacy, or other relevant discipline.
- At least 5 to 10 years of GMP aseptic manufacturing experience.
- Expertise in GxP audit management and interactions with global regulatory authorities, with a focus on biological products/production.
- Must have experience in People Management and engaging people.
- French & English are a must.
- Operational management and leadership skills
- Willing to work on weekend shifts
