**Production Manager**

The Production Manager ensures that the production team achieves objectives of safety, quality, delay and costs. He / She adjusts the work capacity of the manufacturing team and the organization to anticipate the provisional work load given by the production planer. He / She puts on place the necessary corrective actions in case of deviations.

The Production Manager will manage a growing team of 5 to 30 people working in 2 shifts. He / She will be responsible for the recruitment and the training of the operators to the methods, equipment’s use and space requirements

The Production Manager will propose the necessary improvements in terms of methods, organization, tooling and machines.

**TASKS**:

- Deliver the products in time, quality and cost
- Manage the workshops
- Manage the team, the workload and anticipate the decisions related to load/resources adequation, consistently with the ramp-up of PVA activities.
- Guarantee physical flows and data flows for all production activities : preparation, scheduling, kitting, assemblies and tests, inspections, packing and delivery.
- Guarantee the performance of the production team
- Deploy Lean Manufacturing good practices and techniques on the production line, improve the maturity and autonomy of the production and test teams, in accordance with THALES LEAN SYSTEM
- Insure polyvalence and multi competence in your team
- Safety and security officer of the plant
- Contributes to the Industrial and commercial plan and the strategic development of the PVA department

**PROFILE**:

- Engineer with proven management experience in production activity
- A minimum of 5 years of experience is requested.
- A background in Lean manufacturing and Industry 4.0 principles is a strong asset
- Structured, autonomous, rigorous, quick-thinking and responsive are other key strengths
