Onze acties genereren impact door beleid te beïnvloeden, bewustzijn te creëren en projecten uit te voeren met en voor kinderen en jongeren.

Om haar ambities waar te maken en haar missie voor kinderen te realiseren, is Plan International Belgium op zoek naar een enthousiaste en competente Finance & Reporting Head of Unit binnen de afdeling Finance & Organisation.

**Functie**:
De Finance & Reporting Head of Unit is verantwoordelijk voor de boekhouding en alle financiële rapportering binnen Plan International België zowel intern als extern, in overeenstemming met de geldende regelgeving en interne rapportageregels.

De Finance & Reporting Head of Unit:

- Staat garant voor een goed boekhoudkundig en budgettair beheer van de organisatie.
- Is het aanspreekpunt voor boekhoudkundige en budgettaire aangelegenheden.
- Coördineert en superviseert de financiële verrichtingen en andere taken die door het financieel personeel worden uitgevoerd.
- Legt bijzondere nadruk op de nauwkeurigheid en transparantie van boekhouding en rapportage.
- Deelt de financiële resultaten van de organisatie regelmatig en tijdig mee. Identificeert en verklaart, in nauwe samenwerking met ‘operations’, afwijkingen van het budget.
- Houdt toezicht op financiële audits en andere controles.
- Identificeert verbeteringen in de financiële processen om het werk van de unit of de interactie van de unit met de rest van de organisatie te ondersteunen.

**Je verantwoordelijkheden**:
**Verzekeren van correcte en nauwgezette boekhouding en correcte en tijdige rapportering**

Toezien op en coördineren van de financiële verrichtingen van de medewerkers van de financial unit. Met name ervoor zorgen dat de crediteuren-, debiteuren
- en intercompany-rekeningen op elkaar worden afgestemd en bijgewerkt en dat bankreconciliaties nauwgezet worden uitgevoerd. Het opvolgen van operationele taken die door medewerkers worden verricht (bv. bij afwezigheid)
- Complexe boekhoudkundige dossiers behandelen. Zo nodig externe deskundigen raadplegen (auditeurs, boekhoudkantoor)
- Analyseren en interpreteren van financiële gegevens en formuleren van voorstellen voor verbetering
- Beheren en optimaliseren van onze kasposities
- Coördineren van de maandelijkse boekhoudkundige afsluiting en indienen van de maandelijkse financiële verslaglegging bij Global Hub
- De resultaten voorleggen aan het MT en afwijkingen in het budget verklaren
- De jaarlijkse afsluiting met de unit beheren en zorgen voor het vlotte verloop van de controle door de externe auditeurs
- Voorstellen doen voor verbeteringen in het financiële en boekhoudkundige beheer en de processen met betrekking tot de unit of de interacties met de rest van de organisatie. Beheer van eventuele daaruit voortvloeiende projecten
- Op de hoogte blijven van ontwikkelingen in de regelgeving op het gebied van financiën, rapportering, audits, belastingen met betrekking tot ons werkterrein
- Ervoor zorgen dat onze BTW-aangiften correct zijn en op tijd worden ingediend

**Actief deelnemen aan de opmaak van de begroting en instaan voor de follow-up ervan**
- Ondersteunen bij het opstellen van het jaarlijkse budget
- Verantwoordelijkheid dragen voor de maandelijkse budgetopvolging
- Opstellen van maandelijkse dashboards voor de financiële monitoring van activiteiten en licht afwijkingen op het budget toe
- Met de hulp van de Data analyst en het externe boekhoudkantoor, de dashboards automatiseren

**Aansturen van de Unit Finance & Reporting**
- Coachen en motiveren van de leden van de Finance & Reporting Unit (3 personen)
- Voeren van performance management review gesprekken, face-to-face gesprekken, functioneringsgesprekken, teamvergaderingen
- Coördineren van de introductie en opleiding van nieuwe collega's in de eenheid
- Plannen, goedkeuren van verlof en organisatie van aflossing in geval van afwezigheid
- Optimaliseren van de taakverdeling
- Coördineren en optimaliseren van de samenhang tussen taken en te leveren prestaties
- Ondersteunen van collega's in de afdeling om de Finance & Organisation doelstellingen te bereiken

**Het contactpunt zijn voor de Unit Finance & Reporting**
- Nauw samenwerken met de cluster Program Finance & Compliance en met de cluster Data & Systems
- Het contactpunt zijn voor vragen rond boekhouding en budgetopvolging

**Beheer op het gebied van administratie en regelgeving**
- Actualiseren en consolideren van de financiële en boekhoudkundige procedures en ervoor
