For our International Commercial Direction we are currently looking our **:Head of Bid Unit M/F**
Location: Brussels periphery (Belgium)
You will join the** International Division of Suez Consulting.** The International Division has a turnover of over €40M, generated in** Central and Eastern Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia**. Most of the projects are financed by **international donors (AFD, WB, ADB, BAD, EU, EIB, etc.),** for which our teams provide engineering and consultancy services for essential services: water, waste, roads, railways, energy, the environment, urban management, etc. in developing and emerging countries.
Within the International Division, you will join the Commercial Department, which is responsible for answering to international calls for tenders in the fields of** water infrastructure, transport, waste, climate change and energy, governance and public finance.**
This dynamic, multicultural team of around **15 people** works in a demanding and stimulating environment, managing around **100 tenders and 200 pre-qualification files a year.**
**YOUR TASKS**:
Reporting to the International Commercial Director:
- You will **manage and coordinate a team of around ten Bid Managers**, some of whom are based on 3 continents
- You will **supervise or participate in the drafting of pre-qualification documents** and answers to public tenders financed by International Financial Institutions.
- You will **ensure the quality and compliance** of your files with the technical, administrative and financial requirements of the specifications
- You will work closely with the International Commercial Director, to **manage and coordinate the Bid Management Unit.**
- You will also assist the Director in setting up **commercial partnerships**. Short-term commercial missions abroad are also to be expected
**YOUR PROFIL**:
You have at least **7 years' experience in preparing offers** for projects financed by** International Financial Institutions.**
You are familiar with **the various steps of large-scale bids preparation** (budgets above €5 million for services).
Ideally, you have already been involved in **international business development**. You are familiar with **partnerships** and have the** necessary interpersonal and negotiation skills.**
You have a **first experience of managing a team** and are able to support, train and supervise colleagues.
You have **quick analytical skills, good writing skills** and you are **rigorous and open-minded.**

You are fluent in **English,** knowledge of one or more other languages (particularly French) being a significant asset.
