**Description du poste**
As an experienced Bid Manager, you will take on the challenge of realizing our growth ambitions and you will be responsible for driving large and complex projects to a success. You will lead and be the point of contact for a multidisciplinary tender team from the tender stage to the award of the contract. You are the central liaison to the client and consortium partners and manage all aspects of the bid submission process.

Your main tasks include:

- Taking responsibility for managing all aspects of Bid submissions or tenders;
- Monitoring one or more tenders at a time;
- Bringing together a motivated tender team, keeping a good team spirit and managing the tender team for major proposals;
- Determining together the winning tender strategy in order to achieve a competitive and qualitative offer;
- Steering on substantive expertise and making decisions appropriate to the strategy;
- Coordinating all aspects and interfaces in the tender process;
- Managing various disciplines and/or functional departments within BESIX such as engineering, planning & methods, calculations, procurement, legal & finance, insurance, risk and project management, environmental management and possibly maintenance;
- Stimulating interaction between the different field of expertise involved in the bid process in order to optimize the bid;
- Drafting and monitoring the tender budget;
- Set and maintain high standards in bid quality, in both the process and end products;
- Act as a significant contributor to a successful bidding process during which you lead or take part to the negotiations;
- Establish winning bid teams for individual major proposals, working with technical staff, clients, partners, suppliers and external stakeholders, consultants & architects;
- Maintaining or leading contact with Joint Venture and/or Consortium Partners and/or and potential subcontractors;
- Assistance with the preparation of final bid documents;
- Preparing, leading meetings with prospective Clients during the tender period and post tender submission;
- Managing the handover to the execution team;
- Working closely and providing commercial support and contractual advice to Project Managers in the start-up phase;
**Qualifications**
- You have a Master's degree in Civil or Industrial Engineering with at least ten years of experience (Engineering/Architecture);
- You have a relevant experience in project or bid management;
- You are a driven team player who gets the most out of a team with positive energy and also radiates this to the customer and have a focused attitude;
- You possess excellent written and verbal communication and coordination skills;
- You are rigorous, detail oriented, possess strong analytical skills;
- You have proven commercial and negotiation skills with a high level of energy and a commitment to professional excellence;
- You have a winner's mentality, you work in autonomy and remain result-oriented for the best solution in terms of quality, price and time;
- You have a good knowledge of the contractual and financial aspects of a project;
- You are able to:

- react to and manage changes;
- deal with a large number of tasks simultaneously;
- work under pressure and to meet deadlines;
- You speak Dutch or French and English; Other languages are an asset;
- You are flexible to frequently travel worldwide;
